French Riviera

Situated on the French coastline of the Mediterranean Sea, the French Riviera, also known as Cote d’ Azur is the center of attraction for the popular and rich hordes of tourists because of some of its glamorous and rich beach resorts including Cannes, Saint-Tropez, and Monaco, the independent microstate. Even though there are no formal boundaries here, French Riviera is generally considered to spread from the Italian border (in East) to Hyères, Saint-Tropez, Cassis, or Toulon (in West). Other places to explore in the area include the Saint-Paul de Vence; Eze’s perched villages; Cannes Film Festival; the perfumeries of Grasse and many more.

Dordogne

This place is full of scenic beauties and landscapes, so you must visit the place only if you have weeks and/or months to spend here. Situated in southwestern regions of France, Dordogne offers the picture-postcard chateaus and villages; well-maintained Chateau de Beynac, a castle on the hilltop, and many more.

France can be best visited between April and May (spring); June to August (summer) and September-October (fall). Temperatures in France are mild; with slight regional variations; for instance, Mediterranean climate (in South); and wetter (in North), near the English Channel.
