Geography of Ecuador

Situated in Western South America, Ecuador borders the Pacific Ocean at the Equator, the reason why it is called Ecuador. The country has a prolonged history of Christianity followers that is still intact today and the official language is Spanish.

Mountains in Ecuador are with a powerful spiritual significance; the biggest mountains are usually called Taita (known as the father in Quechua) and the second biggest is called Mama.
